For my rebrand proposal for a local organization, I have decided to focus on the Kansas City Free Eye Clinic. The KC Free Eye Clinic is an entirely college student-run and founded 501(c)(3) organization. A charitable organization aimed to provide free eye care to uninsured and homeless individuals.

In the research phase of this project, here are some of my findings so far:

Mission: The Kansas City Free Eye Clinic aims to eliminate the lack of access to visual healthcare in underserved populations by providing comprehensive eye exams with corresponding treatments. Our mission is to protect sight by increasing community awareness, uniting eyecare professionals, and acting as a center for hands-on education for students interested in eyecare.

Competitors: KC Care Clinic provides free healthcare but does not include eye care. Places such as State Line Eye Care center provide eye care but not for free. VisionUSA: (encompassed by optometry cares along with InfantSEE) free eye exam to the uninsured…not much else? and EyeCare America: free eye exam and prescriptions for seniors without insurance (age 65 and above that haven’t received eye care in three or more years you may be eligible)
