to go along with my book, i want to push myself further than just print design and out of my comfort zone. i have decided on a type installation of the title of my project ‘the common thread’. and i’m making the letterforms out of thread (get it, eh?) tied between nails that outline the form. i’m proud to say out of the many many nails that i had to hammer, i only hammered my thumb twice…it was bound to happen. here are some process shots. stay tuned to see the final product.
