I have started the gathering content phase of my project, as a big part of this is going out and talking with people. Getting real stories from real people. I have been able to interview a few millennials so far and plan on contacting retirement communities to see if I can go in and interview seniors there. I have narrowed down my main questions:

how did you meet your significant other?

what was your first date?

what do you think is most important in a lasting partnership?

what is a difficulty you have faced in your partnership?

do you believe soul mates/what’s your definition of a soul mate?

what are your opinions on modern technology and how it has effected relationships today?

what is love to you?

I also ask for some general background and history of each person. I’ve noticed even in just the first few interviews, that as the interview evolves and stories are being told, new questions come up for each person. It feels more like a conversation than an interview, which is really what I’m wanting.
