For this project, we were given the task to make a hypothetical lecture poster for a designer that was specifically assigned to us. We drew inspiration from the particular designer’s process and aesthetics. I made a poster for Fanette Mellier, a french designer who is passionate about color and experimentation and embraces mistakes made during the process of the work. For my final poster, I printed my design and then soaked it in water to capture the feeling of finding beauty in elements you can’t completely control.
