practice for the final presentation! everything’s coming to an end, it’s very exciting, and very very hectic. i’m so glad we have the practice presentation, i’m prone to social anxiety and stage fright and the practice is much needed and to be able to get feedback. some major feedback that i received from this crit:
-Talk some build up before coming to the humans of new york screen.
-Opportunity to show the book, and take the information from the spread in a more dynamic into the presentation that echos the book.
-How is the board interactive? TYPE INSTALLATION
-Lots of opportunity for text overlap into the keynote
-Introduce story with the first thing you made aka board for a stronger storytelling.
-JJs page, make the name bigger, watch typesizes.
-Photograph actual book
-Make a spread fit the presentation, love should be easy, aka a little animation
-Show book as one of the artifacts, show book while doing the presentation.
-Use the microphone
-drop down text on question slide, start talking about inspiration a slide before it, better flow of story.
-What did you learn about these people? A conclusion on love? At the end? Tell us a story of one of the couples…A little story about the people.
